Updates and improvements to the TKN Bags website and bag design studio.

  1. Faster loading & design studio text fixes

    • PerformanceCut the amount of code the home page downloads by roughly 85%. Page-specific features (PDF export, image processing, the design canvas) now load only when they are actually needed instead of on every visit.
    • PerformanceRemoved a PDF library that was loading on every page and delaying the site becoming interactive. It is now fetched only when you upload a PDF in the design studio.
    • PerformanceThe background-removal tool is now downloaded on first use, making the design studio noticeably quicker to open.
    • FixedText boxes in the design studio now fit snugly around your words instead of leaving large empty margins around short text.
    • FixedText no longer reflows onto a second line the moment you click it. Selecting an element no longer changes its layout.
    • FixedResizing text is no longer able to get stuck once it reaches the maximum size — you can now freely scale text back down again.
    • ImprovedResizing text is smoother: the box now tracks your text continuously as you drag, with no jump when you release the handle.
    • ImprovedThe text preview in the sidebar now matches the text that gets placed on the bag, instead of being squashed to fit the panel.
    • ImprovedThe Saved Designs and Profile panels now scroll properly and fit within the screen on phones and tablets.
    • FixedThe Saved Designs panel now has a clear close button that stays visible as you scroll. Previously it could not be dismissed on a phone.
    • ImprovedSaved Designs is more compact on phones, leaving more room for your actual designs.
    • FixedThe quote request form is no longer cut off at the top — the announcement bar at the top of the page was overlapping it.
    • FixedThe profile menu now opens on tap on phones and tablets. It previously flashed open and closed again, making it impossible to use.
    • ImprovedThe mobile navigation menu now reveals its options one at a time for a cleaner opening, and each row is a larger, easier tap target.
    • ImprovedThe login form, login prompt, and product specification table are now properly sized for phone screens.
    • NewThis changelog page, so you can see what has recently changed.

  2. Mobile support & a much bigger clip art library

    • NewExpanded the clip art library from 6 to over 220 graphics across 13 categories, including a Social Media set (Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, Yelp, YouTube and more). All artwork is free for commercial use with no attribution required.
    • NewClip art categories can now be filtered individually, and clip art is placed at a more practical default size with finer size control.
    • ImprovedThe whole site now works on phones and tablets. Pages resize properly instead of forcing you to scroll sideways.
    • FixedFixed the navigation bar overlapping the logo and account button on smaller laptop screens — it now switches to a menu button before anything collides.
    • ImprovedOn phones the account menu now lives inside the navigation menu, and the profile dropdown opens on tap rather than requiring a mouse hover.
    • ImprovedThe design studio now stacks the controls above the bag preview on smaller screens so both are usable.
    • ImprovedReworked the Our Bags page for mobile: the product image displays at full size, thumbnails sit below it, and you can swipe between photos.
    • FixedThe quote request form now fits on phone screens and scrolls correctly.
